Yes. It is mandatory. All Campers need to have valid health insurance (not provided by your school) in order to participate in each camp session. NO EXCEPTIONS. Insurance information needs to be submitted for every camper before your registration is accepted.

Most camp sessions will take same day registrations if the camp is not sold out. Each camp will determine any vacant slots in the morning of registration. It is advised to get in contact with the sport specific camp contact to confirm any vacancy.

Army Athletics reserves that right to cancel any camp at any time. If a camp cancellations occurs, notification and a full refund will be given, minus the registration fee.

You will find a detailed camp packing list and other pertinent information pertaining to your camper’s sport(s) sessions sent to you by your sport specific sport camp upon registering for camp.
A typical barracks room will house up to 4 campers.
Camp Counselors are divided up throughout all barracks utilized to provide ample supervision. Camp Counselors representing each camp session will stay in the barracks overnight.
The answer is Yes! Our campers are given the opportunity to visit Grant Hall during evening hours. Grant Hall is a dining facility within walking distance of the barracks area. Grant Hall offers a variety of fast food items, pizza, sandwiches, ice cream, snacks and more.
Transportation is not offered by any Army Camp to and or from the airport, bus or train stations.

Yes, every camper must have a parent/guardian sign off on the health/waiver portion of their camper registration. You will not be able to complete your registration until you have accepted the health/waiver terms.
Yes. Once a camp is sold out, you will automatically be put on a wait list. If a spot opens up, you will be notified immediately.
During camp registrations Army Athletics Gift shop will open an on-site sales booth stocked with apparel and merchandise. You can also visit our main gift shop located outside Thayer Gate for a full selection of Army Athletics Merchandise.
Each camp will have the option of using an indoor facility for training sessions. We will not participate outdoors in lighting or severe weather and will take all precautions during high heat indexes.
E-mail your sports camp directly to obtain your dining facility and chef contact information.

Yes! When you register for camp, you can input your roommate requests. We do everything we can to try and accommodate all requests. Please ensure that the roommate(s) you have requested are registered for camp. Campers without roommate requests will be grouped with similar-age and same gender campers.

 

If you have any issues or questions, please contact your specific sport camp contact.

The buildings are not air conditioned. For your campers comfort, please ensure they bring a fan with them to camp.

Absolutely! Parents and family members are always welcomed and encouraged to attend.

 

You will be allowed to watch drills and competitions without prior approval.If your camper needs something from home, or to meet with you, prior approval from camp administration is mandatory. Parents are not allowed in the barracks area during camp week without a counselor escort. Any parent that does not make prior arrangements though the camp sport office will be escorted off of post and your camper may be removed from their camp session.

 

If a camper needs to check out of camp early or on a temporary basis, proper ID is required and only a parents or guardian on file may sign out a camper. Prior arrangements will need to be made directly with your camper sport specific camp staff.

EMERGENCY MEDICATION FORM:

The emergency medication form should be used when sending your child to any day/commuter camp/clinic. If your child is on emergency medication(s) (i.e. Epi Pens, Inhalers, glucagon, etc.) you will need to fill out this form, have a physician sign it, and bring with you the first day of the camp/clinic.

PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION FORM:

The prescription medication form should be used when your child is staying overnight for any camps/clinics. If your child is taking any prescription medication (i.e. ADD/ADHD, antidepressants, etc.) you will need to fill out this form, have a physician sign it, and bring with you on the first day of the camp/clinic.

OTC FORM:

The OTC Medication form should be used if your child is attending an overnight camp only and you will be sending with them non-prescription medication (i.e. ibuprofen, Tylenol, etc.). ‍

CAMPUS ACCESS

WEST POINT CAMPUS ACCESS INFORMATION:
Anyone who wants access to post at West Point for any clinics or camps must have proper credentials to do so. Anyone who enters post must always be prepared to present a state driver’s license, up-to-date car registration and valid insurance. All passengers in the vehicle who are of age should also be prepared to present a valid ID upon request. All cars are always subject to being searched.

Non-DOD visitors will be required to check in at the visitor control center (VCC) daily from 6am until 10pm to be issued Local Access Credentials (LAC) in order to gain entry onto the military installation. After 10pm visitors are still required to conduct a background check to enter the installation, however only a 24-hour pass will be provided at Stoney Lonesome Gate until the visitor can obtain a LAC at the VCC the next business day if necessary.

2019-2020 army Camps and clinics refund policy

SUMMER CAMPS/CLINICS

A full refund, less the registration fee, will be issued if the refund request is made outside of 60 days of camp.

A refund of 50% of the cost of camp, less the registration fee, will be issued if the refund request is made between 60 days and 14 days of camp.

No refund will be issued if the refund request is made inside 14 days of camp. Instead of a refund, credit for a future camp may be issued. This is determined by the team hosting the camp and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

If a refund is requested due to a death in the family or a medical reason that does not allow the camper to participate, then a full refund, less the registration fee will be issued. If it is a medical reason, then the parent or guardian must provide a signed doctor’s note.

ACADEMIC YEAR CAMPS/CLINICS

A full refund, less the registration fee, will be issued if the refund request is made prior to two days before the clinic.

No refund will be issued if the request is made inside of two days of the clinic.

If a refund is requested due to a death in the family or a medical reason that does not allow the camper to participate, then a full refund, less the registration fee will be issued. If it is a medical reason, then the parent or guardian must provide a signed doctor’s note.

* Please note, the registration fee will NOT be able to be refunded under any circumstance.
This includes, but not limited to, a camp being canceled for any reason.
