About Ever to Excel Golf Camps

Hosted by the Boston College Coaching Staff, “Ever to Excel” Golf Camps are co-educational and designed for junior golfers who aspire to play at the collegiate level. The ideal camper is passionate about the game and wants to become a more complete player. Our camps are open to any and all entrants between the ages of 13 and 19, and are limited to the first 20 to register.

Ever to Excel camps focus on the development of efficient practice techniques and effective strategies to improve competitive performance. The BC Coaches will provide feedback and instruction on participants’ strengths and weaknesses. Campers will engage in on-course competition while the coaches observe and guide them in strategic decision making.

The BC Coaches will lead a discussion on college preparation, including an overview of basic NCAA rules and recruiting timelines. The BC Coaches will answer questions about the college golf experience, the life of student-athletes, and insight into finding a program that is the “right fit”.

Our Facilities

Blue Hill Country Club is the home of the Boston College Men’s and Women’s Golf Teams. Located in the Boston suburb of Canton, Blue Hill Country Club is situated at the base of Blue Hill, fittingly named for the bluish hue of its visible granite faces.
Blue Hill features 27 well-manicured holes, two putting greens, a short game practice area, and a driving range. The club’s 18-hole Championship Course was designed in 1925 by Donald Ross’s assistant, Eugene “Skip” Wogan. The Championship Course hosted the 1956 PGA Championship, LPGA Tour from 1991-1997, and Boston College Intercollegiate since 2017.

Blue Hill’s 9-hole, Challenger Course was built in 1961 by Wogan’s son, Phil. Compared to the Championship Course, the Challenger Course plays shorter, but requires more precise tee shots. Blue Hill’s variety of holes, spacious practice facilities, and overall standard of excellence, make it a wonderful venue to develop and maintain the skills needed to compete at the NCAA Division I level.
