Description
Campers will receive instruction in the fundamentals of basketball and will be placed on a team to compete in games against other campers.
Camp Includes
Camp t-shirt, camp certificate, and camp evaluation.
Camp Attire/What to Bring
Players should come dressed for basketball with t-shirt, shorts, socks and basketball shoes. Players may bring a water bottle or purchase water or Powerade from the camp store. Basketballs will be provided and there is no need for campers to bring their own. We do strongly ask that campers do not bring video game devices or other items that are not needed to play basketball. Houston is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Camp Times/Camp Conclusion
Early Dropoff at 8:00am available ALL WEEK
9:00am-5:00pm – Monday through Wednesday
9:00am-2:00pm – Thursday
- Please pick up and drop off your camper at the VIP entrance to the Fertitta Center (on the Holman Street entrance). The address for the Fertitta Center is 3422 Cullen Blvd, Houston, TX 77004. But please make note that the entrance to camp will be on Holman Street and not on Cullen Blvd.
Parking
Parking is NOT FREE. The city of Houston controls parking on Holman Street and you can pay at the meter in a first come first serve manner. There is visitor parking in the garage across from the Fertitta Center that you can pay for as well. Please do not park in the open parking lot by the Fertitta Center as this is Faculty parking for the University and you will be ticketed.
Visitation
Parents and guardians are welcome to watch the beginning of camp and conclusion of camp each day in the Fertitta Center.
Camp Trainer
There will always be a certified athletic trainer on site for the duration of the camp. Please convey any medical issues for your camper to the trainer during check-in.
Camp Store/Meals
A camp store will be set up during camp where using social distancing guidelines campers may purchase drinks, candy and pizza slices. At camp registration you may put money in the camp store, which the camper can then use as a debit system to purchase items. Lunch is not provided and campers are encouraged to bring their own. The camp store will sell pizza slices should campers want to do that for lunch.
**Note that there will not be refunds from the camp store so please only put money in that you plan on having the camper use completely.
Refund Policy
There is a $100 non-refundable deposit with all camp registrations. If a camper cannot attend due to unforeseen circumstances (illness, injury, dire family situation), notification must be made prior to check-in and refund will be given minus $100.00 deposit. If camper has to withdraw from camp due to unforeseen circumstances (illness, injury, dire family situation), camper will be charged a prorated fee based on number of days in attendance. No partial refunds/discounts/or prorated rates for attending other events or being able to only attend certain days. Refunds will not be given for any additional reasons.

COACH REGISTRATION
Camp Description
High School teams from the greater Houston area and out of state will participate in competition to prepare them for the upcoming season in premier, air conditioned facilities. Each team is guaranteed 4 games. Officials will be provided for every game.
Cost
$500.00 – 1 team
$1,000.00 – 2 teams
$1,4000.00 – 3 teams
Registration includes t-shirt for all team members!
What to Bring
Come dressed and ready to play with athletic shorts, basketball shoes, and any other gear each individual player may need in order to play multiple games each day. Water will be available throughout the facility, but players may want to bring a water bottle and/or a sports drink
Pick up and Drop off
Pick up and drop off will take place in the Guy V. Lewis Basketball Center.
Camp Trainer
We have a full-time, certified athletic trainer who will be on site throughout the entirety of camp. If you have any medical concerns regarding your child, please convey this to the trainer at check-in. In the waiver statement that was electronically signed, please note that over-the-counter medications may be provided. Should you have any questions about this policy, please speak to our camp trainer at check-in.
Visitation
All family members are welcome to come and observe camp. Signage from the lobby will direct you to seating.
Camp Check-in
Registration will take place in the Athletics Alumni Center. The entrance is located on Cullen Blvd, between Holman St. and Elgin St. Please arrive an hour before camp starts to register your camper.
Game Schedule
Games will start on the hour every hour from 9am-8pm. Exact games times and matchups will be posted 24 hours prior to the first game.

Parking Information
Parents are invited to watch their camper(s) during camp, but will be responsible for their own parking. A daily parking pass may be purchased at registration so parents may park on campus. Parking is also available in the Visitor Garage on Holman St. however only the first 30 minutes are free. Any additional time is charged an hourly rate.

• $150.00 of total is considered a deposit and is non-refundable.
• If camper cannot attend due to unforeseen circumstances, notification must be made prior to check-in.
• No other team may attend in place of the originally registered team due to absence.
