Liberty Flames Tennis Camps
The Liberty Flames Tennis Camps at Liberty University are dedicated to providing tennis clinics that are instructional and informative. The staff strives to create a great atmosphere for campers to learn and grow in. Experience top-notch training and beautiful Liberty University with Flames Head Coach Derek Schwandt.
All skill levels for Girls and Boys ages 6-18 are welcome! We aim to enhance each camper’s skills through morning instruction and afternoon match play. Sound fundamentals and strategy will be taught in an engaging, fun environment.
The coaching staff here at Liberty University prides itself on teaching the game of tennis to players of all ages and ability level. All clinics are taught by our coaching staff and players. The mechanics and drills that are taught during clinic are used with our college players. The camp staff is determined to provide the best possible learning experience for all our campers.

The Cook Tennis Center serves as the home to Liberty University’s men’s and women’s tennis teams. Liberty Athletics announced the plans for the facility in November 2010, after Sherwin and Lora Cook pledged the lead gift for the tennis teams’ new homes.
Completed in early September 2011, the Cook Tennis Center contains all the necessities for a top-tier program in one location. On the ground level, student-athletes have access to men’s and women’s locker rooms, a training room and a stringing room. Upstairs features coaches’ offices as well as a team room.

Registration is recommended 2 weeks prior, but you can all the way up to the night before.
No, however, we are willing to work with you. There are specified discounts available when registering as well.
Our staff includes: Head coach for Liberty men’s tennis, alongside Liberty’s men’s and women’s varsity tennis players
The camp will be held on Liberty’s campus, primarily at the Cook tennis center.
Campers will be housed in student dorms on campus.
Campers are advised to bring: Water Jug, Racquets, Tennis shoes, Snacks, Change of clothes, Towels.
Your child should not need money, except for campus vending machines and a visit to the Bookstore.
Refunds will only be granted if cancelled 7 days before the start of camp
Our coaches will always have their phones, should an emergency arise.
Meals are served at Liberty’s Reber Thomas Dining Hall

Evening Activites at Liberty University
Overnight campers will have evening activities including Snow Flex, indoor pool, trip to downtown Lynchburg for ice cream and shopping, and indoor soccer/basketball.
