Description

Golden Flyer Field Hockey camp is built on creating an environment for all ages, skill levels, and experience with the proper coaching and support to develop each individual at their own pace and goals. We achieve this through an instructional and exciting atmosphere to grow their love of the game with skills, drills, and of course, plenty of games and fun!

Our coaching staff consists of the Nazareth Field Hockey Coaching staff, nearby College Coaches, and some of our current players. We're focused on making sure each camper leaves our camp feeling they've grown as a player, and hopefully, made some new connections as well!

We teach skills and drills we use at the college level to develop strong habits for our campers on the field and mold our drills to each skill level so each player can find success and improvement. We're excited to work with you and hope you are too!

A member institutions sports camp or clinic shall be open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender.

Equipment

Field hockey stick, cleats and/or turf shoes, shinguards, mouthguard, and water bottle. Goalkeepers should bring their own full set of gear as well! Each camper will receive a Nazareth Field Hockey t-shirt at registration!

Cost

$250 per player

Check-In

Check-in will be next to the turf field, parents should park in the stadium lot and walk campers over for check in.

Parking Info

The stadium lot is referred to as Lot P on campus and is connected to the building with the purple roof. (If you put in "Golden Flyer Stadium" into your GPS, it will most likely bring you to the right spot! Just double-check before you drive!)

Additional Info

Camp is half-day, parents are welcome to watch but we ask that you let our coaches coach (and create the fun!). Please be on time for drop-off and pick-up. We ask that you check your email frequently this is how we will get information out!

Welcome to the Golden Flyers Field Hockey Camp at Nazareth College. We are committed to providing a camp that is both instructional and informational along with creating a great atmosphere to learn! The coaching staff at Nazareth College is dedicated to the development and growth of Field Hockey athletes of all ages and skill levels. We are committed to providing a positive and instrumental learning experience for our camp.

Kelsey Devine

Nazareth Head Field Hockey Coach

In her first year, Coach Devine and the team recorded a 9-8 record overall and 6-3 within conference play. The 2024 team set a record for most wins within the conference within the season, and clinched the 4th seed in post-season playoffs. They achieved the first winning season since 2007, and continue to push themselves while striving to learn and grow. Coach Devine’s passion to grow the game locally lies within her camps, clinics, and involvement in the local Rochester club team, RNY, as a coach to build the community and connections within our region. Summer camp is a place to grow, enjoy, and find new exciting pieces of the game we all love (or will love soon). During camp, our goal is to increase the enjoyment of the sport, learn fundamentals in new ways, teach tactical play, and of course, sprinkle in some fun along the way!
