Pierce Elite Basketball Camps
Pierce Basketball Camps are designed to be fun, competitive and valuable in helping players get better. The goal is to give campers the tools to that can be worked on at home or wherever they may be after they leave. Our goal is that when a player leaves camp, he or she will have the knowledge of countless drills that will help them progress in the game of basketball and to move to his or her next skill level. The atmosphere at camp is energetic, motivating and competitive. Campers and coaches are expected to demonstrate great sportsmanship and use the skill of positive encouragement throughout the week.

Our Coaches
The camp staff is made up of high school and junior high coaches and former college and high school players who love basketball. Each camp coach is committed to making sure every camper gets plenty of individual instruction. If a camper wants to improve, he or she will have plenty of opportunities and assistance.
Coach Shalesha is a former college athlete who participated in multiple championships at her alma mater Texas state University. Pierce was named to the all-conference team and holds 4 Southland Conference Championships. She is a 7 time Coach of the year with more than 18 years’ experience as a head basketball coach. Her passion for the game of basketball, with an emphasis on defense, shooting and game IQ are highlights of Pierce Elite Basketball Camps.
Immediately out of college Coach Pierce was named head basketball Coach at the 3A level where the team took multiple trips to the regional tournament . After moving the 5A level for 3 years, Coach Pierce was named the head basketball Coach at 6A George Ranch High School where she coached for 11 years. During that time the team produced 2 district championships; 8 years in a row were participants in the UIL State playoffs, multiple college basketball athletes , Coach Pierce was a 5 X district coach of the year and 2x Houston area Coach of the Year.
Coach Pierce is an avid supporter and sponsor of Fellowship of Christian Athletes is the head women’s basketball coach at a 6A high school in the area.
