Welcome to Pirates Lacrosse Prospect Day! Our camps are dedicated to providing an experience that is educational, instructional, and fun!

Led by the Southwestern University coaching staff and current student athletes, participants will be introduced to the same mechanics and drills used within our own practices/workouts. Our coaches will share their passion for the sport of lacrosse in a supportive and challenging atmosphere with students of all ages and ability levels. We are determined to provide the best possible learning experience for our campers and advise them on any questions regarding academics and athletics at the next level!

The day will feature various footwork/positional stations, short sided Offense vs. defense drills, and gameplay. Your son will also have the opportunity to receive specific feedback from the coaching staff.

Southwestern Men’s Lacrosse Camps are open to any and all players that will be rising 9th-12th by the Fall of 2024.

Schedule
10:00am: Introduction and Stretch
10:20am – 12:00pm: Stations and drills
12:00pm: Lunch (Not Provided)
12:30pm: Locker Room Facility Tour
1:30pm: Stretch and scrimmage
3:00pm – Conclusion of Camp

Equipment

All participants should have their own equipment. Sticks, helmets, gloves, arm pads, shoulder pads and mouth guards are required.

** Each player will receive a lacrosse pinnie to wear. The pinnie will need to be returned to us at the conclusion of camp.

Directions

From Interstate Highway 35
Exit 261 (Georgetown). Follow Texas Highway 29 east into Georgetown, approximately 1.5 miles. Turn into campus at Southwestern Boulevard the right at the first stop sign. Follow the road through Pirate Cove.

From State Highway 130 (Tollway)
Exit 415 (Georgetown). Follow Texas Highway 29 west into Georgetown, approximately 2.4 miles. Turn into campus at Southwestern Boulevard the right at the first stop sign. Follow the road through Pirate Cove.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called “Cancellation Protection”. We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date.

Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and/or miscommunication.
