Pirates Lacrosse Camps
Welcome to Pirates Lacrosse Camps at Southwestern University! We are committed to providing a camp that is both instructional and informational along with creating a great atmosphere to learn! The coaching staff at SU is dedicated to the development and growth of lacrosse players of all ages and skill levels.
Pirates Lacrosse Camps offer an opportunity for players to receive valuable instruction on the skills of lacrosse. Our goal is to provide a positive and instrumental learning experience for all campers in a structured, enthusiastic and fun environment.

Southwestern Varsity Fields
Southwestern men’s and women’s soccer as well as men’s and women’s lacrosse have called Varsity Field home since 1993.
During that time the Pirates have seen improvements as well as hosted numerous championships on the Southwestern campus. Men’s and women’s soccer have rotated hosting the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship Tournament starting in 2012 with the women and 2013 for the men’s tournament.
The fields most recently saw improvements with the addition of lights as most Friday nights during the fall you can watch the Pirate men’s and women’s soccer team in conference action.
Varsity Field hosted its first lacrosse match March 13, 2010 when the Pirate men hosted Trine University. And February 7, 2014 the Pirate women played their first ever game on Varsity Field in the inaugural women’s lacrosse game against Hendrix College.
The Southwestern men’s lacrosse program also hosted the first SCAC Lacrosse Championship April 26, 2014 against Colorado College. The Tigers held off a second half rally from the Pirates to win 13-7.
