ABOUT US

Minnesota Track & Field Camps

Welcome and thank you for your interest in the University of Minnesota Track & Field Camps. We are excited that you are considering the University of Minnesota for a great camp experience!!

Our camp is designed to teach you the fundamentals of running Cross Country. The emphasis will be on providing you a great fun-filled learning week. You will be taught skills and techniques that will help you improve and better yourself as a athlete both on and off the course. The University of Minnesota Cross Country Camps are open to any and all who wish to attend.

Discounts

There are discounts offered for those who have 3 or more campers from the same school. It is a $25.00 discount per person. If you are eligible for this discount, please contact Matt Bingle at minnesotatrackcamp@hotmail.com BEFORE you register. Coach Bingle will provide you with a discount code for you to use while registering. Discounts are no longer offered once camp start!!

Yes teams can attend and will receive a $25.00 discount if 3 or more come from the same team attend the camp.

Two weeks before the start of the camp that you are attending is the camp refund deadline. After this date 0% is refunded unless there is medical documentation.

Proof of Insurance and Release of Liability

Proper workout Clothes, proper shoes, fan, bathroom needs, towels, snack food, event shoes, and spending money. If you are a thrower you must bring your own implements. If you are a pole vaulter you must bring your own poles.

Resident campers check-in at Territorial Hall from 1:00pm-2:30pm
Day campers check in at Territorial Hall on the first day. Check in time on the first day will be 7:45am-8:30am
Future Stars Campers check in is at Sea Foam Stadium, please see camp details for more information.

You will receive a camp t-shirt and water bottle.

Links will be provided with in the camp details of the camp that you choose to attend.

Resident Campers will have all of their meals provided while they are at camp starting with dinner on the first day and ending with breakfast on the last day.

Day Campers will get lunch each day, except on the last day of camp due to checkout being at Noon.

Half day Young star sessions do not get meals, full day Young Stars will receive lunch.

  • 10:00am: Morning Workout
  • 11:30am: Lunch
  • 01:00pm: Talk

  • 05:00pm: Dinner
  • 07:00pm: Evening Activity

  • 09:00am: Information Session

  • 11:30am-1:00pm: Lunch and Rest Time

Yes, there will be a certified University of Minnesota Athletic Trainer at the camp.

Yes, High School Coaches can come for free and observe the track sessions. Please have them contact Camp Director Matt Bingle at minnesotatrackcamp@hotmail.com

You will want to fly into the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. Then you can either take a taxi or the Super Shuttle to Cenntenial Hall.
