ABOUT US
San Francisco Tennis Camps
SF Tennis Camps in beautiful San Francisco, California are dedicated to providing a tennis camp that is both instructional and informational along with creating a great atmosphere to learn!
The coaching staff at the University of San Francisco prides itself on teaching the game of tennis to players of all ages and ability levels. All camps are co-ed and taught by our high quality coaching staff. We are determined to provide the best possible learning experience for our campers.
Through our partnership with Harper for Kids and its youth character development program (based on legendary UCLA Coach Wooden’s Pyramid of Success), campers will also be learning important life skills and what it takes to reach their personal best.
THIS SUMMER
SF Pee Wee Tennis Camp is designed specifically for the younger camper ages 3-6 years. It will run 1 hour long and utilize the preferred beginner “quick start” instruction method as well as foam balls and racquets (which we will supply). Our expert and experienced instructors will run a fun filled camp that promises to engage the campers regardless of the child’s experience level. The program will introduce the sport of tennis focusing on building skills, having fun, and familiarizing campers with the basics of forehands and backhands, volleys and serves. Parents/Caregivers are invited to stay, observe and root on your camper.

Camp instruction starts at 9:30 a.m. however, counselors will be on-site each morning beginning at 9 a.m. Campers arriving between 9 – 9:30 a.m. are supervised and are able to participate in tennis games.
We have co-ed campers that range in age from 3 yrs to 16 yrs. We teach all ability levels from beginners on up to high school and tournament players.
The camp is conducted at City College of San Francisco on their 8 beautiful tennis courts. Their tennis facility is located in the south eastern region of San Francisco.
Without a doubt we have one of the most qualified staffs for this level of tennis in the area. In addition to Coach Bartlett and his extensive resume, there are two top level collegiate coaches who help run the camp each day. Every camp instructor goes through high qualified tennis training for the level they instruct. We also have several junior instructors on our team who help provide our camps with a student to coach ratio no larger than 6:1.
We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called “Cancellation Protection”. We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.
