Welcome to our summer basketball camps website, designed for players from the classes of 2025, 2026, 2027, and 2028 who want to showcase their skills in front of our top-level coaches at Virginia Union Panthers led by Coach Jay Butler. Barco-Stevens Hall
This is the home court for the Virginia Union University Panthers basketball and volleyball teams. The building, which features stone reliefs depicting the Belgian Congo, was originally the Belgian Building at the 1939 New York World’s Fair. The building was moved to its current location on the VUU campus in 1943, and the VUU men’s basketball team played its first game there in January 1947. The building acquired the name Barco-Stevens Hall in 1962 to honor John W. Barco and John W. Stevens.
